This past weekend was a great success and a lot of fun as we rolled out the first Kettlebells for Sport Performance Seminar! We were so fortunate to have an amazing group of attendees including doctors, physical therapists, strength trainers, and kettlebell enthusiasts. The centerpiece was the new 44-week DSP Training Manual. With that tool, our attendees can begin to change lives.
These folks showed they were the real deal as they came from as far away as Oregon, New York, Pennsylvania and more! The DSP staff issues a heart-felt thanks to all attendees and hope to see them again for additional workshops where we will dive deep into how they can bring the best to even more clients.
These people get it; the old methods and model for rehab and sport performance just don’t work well anymore for many clients nor the practitioner. Practitioners are learning that more clients can be helped using the DSP protocol and business model. In addition, practitioners, whether PT’s or strength coaches get exposed to a business model that is satisfying and profitable.
This workshop was a reflection of leading-edge thinking and practices. National names in the sport performance business are now touting the kettlebell as a great tool for building athletes. As personally satisfying as that is to hear, the vast majority of folks working with athletes and every-day people simply looking to feel better still haven’t jumped on board. No worries. That’s why we are gearing up to take our message on the road.
Speaking of being on leading edge, our Coach Fox presented information on Emotional Freedom Techniques (“EFT”) as a means of addressing the impact of mindset and emotions on rehab, training, and performance. The best minds in physio-therapy and sport performance acknowledge that the non-physical piece is HUGE! But few have a go-to bucket of easy-to-implement protocols to overtly address it. We are going to change that.
In 2019 and beyond we’ve got a series of programs, workshops and certifications planned. Including a new program to help people train for the RKC. The RKC is physically and emotionally taxing. Contact me if you’d like to learn more about this very important new program.
Enjoy Thanksgiving!
All the Best!
